DETAILS
The Strymon BRIG takes everything guitarists love about vintage bucket brigade delays and reimagines them for today’s players in a compact, modern, and incredibly flexible format. Far more than a “cut-down Brigadier,” the BRIG brings you the warmth, movement, and magic of classic BBD circuits—expanded with true stereo operation, deep MIDI integration, and enhanced creative control.
At its core, BRIG delivers three distinct bucket brigade voices, each inspired by legendary 1970s and 1980s delay chips:
-
MN3205 Mode – shorter delay times with characterful grit and warm modulation
-
MN3005 Mode – lush, spacious repeats with extended delay range
-
Multi-Voiced Cross-Coupled Mode – two interlocked delay machines with golden-ratio timing, producing wide, evolving stereo textures unlike any traditional analog delay
With its unique Filter control, you can dial in the perfect tonal flavor of your repeats—ranging from pristine, hi-fi echoes to the dark, noisy, and atmospheric character of aging vintage units. Set the 3205 for ultra-short times and you’ll unlock rich, BBD-style chorus and modulation effects.
Whether you’re running mono, stereo, or dual setups, BRIG offers a huge stereo field and full control of your sound. Add in tap tempo, 300 MIDI-accessible presets, and glitch-free switching, and you’ve got a professional-grade delay pedal that can live on any pedalboard—from minimalist rigs to full MIDI-controlled setups.
