As a tiny collective of programmers, musicians, and aesthetic obsessives, we never intended to replicate classics, because to us, sonic mediocrity is noise in itself. In those early days, in a room illuminated by screen glare and floor noise, our only consensus was this: if the physical world doesn't offer a response that leaves you speechless, you have to build it yourself.
