To honor Randy’s monumental legacy, MXR has recreated his exact Distortion+ pedal. For the first time in 42 years, the Rhoads family opened Randy’s original pedalboard at the Musonia School of Music in Los Angeles. Working closely with his sister, Kathy Rhoads, the MXR design team meticulously examined the vintage unit, capturing every detail to ensure this signature edition delivers the same iconic, overdriven sound heard on Randy’s most celebrated performances.

The enclosure design pays homage to Randy’s legendary white pinstriped Flying V guitar, inspired by a supersonic airliner he once flew on while touring with Ozzy Osbourne. This special edition also comes with an exclusive collector’s booklet, making it a must-have for both fans and players alike.
