We have this Tanglewood Nashville TN5 SFCE in Antique Violin complete with a hard case in very good condition. This guitar has some lights marks on the headstock, and some hazing underneath the finish mainly on the back. See photos for more details on the condition. This guitar will be set up in our in-store workshop prior to shipping. It comes with a 3 month warranty.

Solid Spruce & African Mahogany Construction

The Tanglewood TN5 SFCE AV features a solid spruce top, renowned for its crisp articulation, impressive dynamic range, and exceptional versatility. Favoured by guitar makers for its responsive character, spruce performs beautifully across a variety of playing styles, from energetic strumming to delicate fingerpicking. Its natural elasticity allows it to resonate freely while maintaining strength, producing a balanced voice with deep lows, warm midrange tones, and bright, sparkling highs.

Complementing the spruce top are African mahogany back and sides, which contribute the rich warmth and woody character traditionally associated with mahogany. African mahogany offers excellent tonal balance thanks to its natural damping properties, delivering a strong fundamental response with enhanced clarity. Slightly stiffer than other mahogany varieties, it also provides a broader frequency range and increased overtone complexity. Together, these tonewoods create a versatile instrument suited to a wide range of genres and playing techniques.

Mahogany Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard
