Check out this Japanese Ibanez from the mid 80's!

A piece of Ibanez history, the RS530 Roadstar II Deluxe captures the moment when classic Roadstar design evolved into the modern superstrat. Built in Japan at the renowned FujiGen factory, this mid-80s model delivers vintage craftsmanship with forward-thinking features that would soon define the RG era.

Condition: This guitar has been well played during its 40+ years lifespan - it still plays and sounds great. Things to note, the wear on this guitar includes a couple of heavy chips to the body - on the underside (see photos). Also, the White Pearl original finish has been attempted to be sanded back to a matt finish or polished but has resulted in patches of matt finish on the guitar. There are general dings and wear & tear on the body. Neck pockets have lacquer cracks either side although this has been checked and it doesn't afford the structural integrity of the instrument - 3 Month Warranty included for peace of mind.

Playability on this guitar is great, it has been fitted with a new set of strings (E.B 9-42) and is setup well with a medium/low action - this can be adjusted to your preference. This guitar is fully functioning.

The dual “Duo Sound” push/push switches allow each pickup to be coil-split, unlocking a wide range of sounds; from full, powerful humbucker drive to brighter, single-coil-style clarity. A 3-way selector, dual volume controls, and master tone knob give you complete tonal control.

Performance Hardware
The Pro Rock’r double-locking tremolo system, paired with a Top-Lok locking nut, provides solid tuning stability even under aggressive use. Black hardware throughout gives the RS530 a sleek, purposeful look, complemented by Ibanez Smooth Tuner II machines and distinctive Tek Grip knobs and Pearl White finish.
