Here we have a stunning and incredibly rare piece of Martin's History - A 1926 N-17.
Martin's 1926 N-17 is an incredible piece of history, it's of the pre-war era of Martin & Co where each guitar was made individually and attention to detail was second to none. The all mahogany body gives this guitar a sweet and resonant tone. There's a common phrase with Martin guitars which is "The day you buy a Martin is the worst it will sound". Well this one has had nearly 100 years to mature, and the moment you strum your first chord on it - you can hear & feel the difference.
This guitar is in very good condition considering its age. The machine heads have been replaced at some point - they all function well. The frets are in good condition with minimal fret wear, the neck is perfectly straight - being a pre-truss rod model and it's setup very well. The case is non original but is a good quality and secure.
