Gordon Smith have been building handcrafted guitars custom in the UK since 1974. Born to Punk parents, used and abused by British Rock, thrashed by Grunge and the cornerstone of Indie. Great playing instruments and very versatile!
Constructed with an Maple Neck. With its comfortable neck profile and 25.5" scale length, the Classic S neck feels great in the hand and allows for a great playing instrument; the contoured body sits nicely. A brass nut also features.
Handwound single coil pickups allow their fine attention to detail to cut through with chimey, sparkling tone you could only achieve on a Classic S style guitar but with the added umph of a gordon smith humbucker in the bridge position.
With a history that dates back to 1974, Gordon Smith know a few things about making guitars and with this GS Classic S model you can see that in abundance. It's a superbly built instrument, full of unique character, simple by stunning looks and great tone!
