EGO BOOSTER |
Winning
fantastic reviews in Guitarist
magazine, this is booster bliss
as it should be. Ultra high input
impedance brings sparkle and life
back into vintage pickups. The
tone control provides a full
range of bass and treble boost
options, and switches off\par for
uncolored, transparent boost. The
boost control ranges from unity
gain to a whopping 30 dB of tube
melting boost. (It also sports a
spiffy bright blue LED). |

RED THREAT |
The
ultimate high-gain distortion.
Rich harmonics, crazy feedback,
and amazing low end handling. But
what we came up with is so much
more. From soulful blues to
down-tuned hardcore; from
overplayed quasi-sexual butt rock
riffs to indiscriminate, over
saturated wall-of-noise
melodrama. This baby does it all!
The gain knob starts by adding
distortion, moves into escalating
layers of feedback, and ends with
a blanket of shimmering noise.
Even the tone knob is out of
control. Need we say more? |

|
Pedal Specs:
Knobs: Volume, Gain
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 3 1/2" Wide, 4 1/2" Long, 1 5/16" Tall
The Batch O Ass is one of
the high gain pedals Greer produce, this pedal
can do anything from mean, aggressive distortion
to beautiful tube overdrive type sounds as well
as a rather substantial clean boost. This pedal
plays well with both humbuckers and single
coils. The circuitry in this pedal provides two
successive gain stages that are voiced to allow
the subtle nuances of players' styles to shine.
As with all Nick Greer pedals, it is true bypass
and is sensitive to your playing style and pick
attack.

BLACK FUZZ
|
Pedal Specs:
Knobs: Volume
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 2 1/4" Wide, 4 5/16" Long, 1 1/4" Tall
The Black Fuzz is a very
simple, elegant pedal with more of a complex
sound than most think. This pedal has a single
control that adjusts only the volume of the
output signal. The guitarist is able to control
the gain from the guitar by lowering the volume
control on the guitar. The Black Fuzz is one of
the most pick sensitive pedals we build, even
with the guitar's volume control at full volume,
a beautiful clean sound can be had by simply
picking softly. This pedal has been compared to
classic sounds from the seventies, with thick,
lucious distortion and a slight bit of a fuzz
sound, envision a Black Face style amp being
pushed hard with a bit of fuzz added on top.

CLAYMORE
|
Pedal
Specs:
Knobs: Volume, Grit
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 2 1/4" Wide, 4 5/16" Long, 1 1/4" Tall
Like the namesake's explosive characteristics,
this pedal comes out of the box ready to go off!
A two knob single circuit design allows for a
beautiful, textured boost mixed with a slight
60's distortion sound that works wonderfully
with tube amps. This pedal is designed with the
player that has his/her amplifier on the edge of
breaking up. The volume knob of course controls
the volume of the boost. The grit (c/fuzz on
some earlier models) knob controls the amount of
"hair" that is added. The grit knob is most
useful when the player has the amp set on the
verge of breakup and becomes more flexible the
more the amp is driven, at low levels the grit
knob is not so noticeable in effect. This pedal
is truly loud, proud, and is not afraid of being
mean!

|
Pedal Specs:
Knobs: Volume, Tone, Gain
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 2 1/4" Wide, 4 5/16" Long, 1 1/4" Tall
Three knobs sit atop this beautiful pedal.
Tweed in a box? It's in there! Classic OD
tones, very responsive to the guitar's
volume knob. Can also work very well to tame
a loud amp. This pedal goes in the range of
fuzz and distortion. Gain, Tone, and Level
knobs allow the player a great amount of
flexibility. This pedal is wonderful in
meshing with one's current overdrive sound
and can even be used as a rhythm distortion.
Fat and lovely, this is the player's pedal.

PEACEMAKER PREAMP
|
Pedal Specs:
Knobs: Post, Pre
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 4 1/2" Wide, 3 1/2" Deep, 1 5/16" Tall
The Peacemaker is a dual boost unit with two
knobs, one labeled pre and the other post.
This pedal uses two successive and
differnetly voiced gain stages to acheive
insane amounts of distortion or clean boost.
The user can choose to place the Pre knob
wherever they like (the lower the level, the
cleaner the sound) and drive the amp as hard
as they like with the Post knob. This pedal
gives the user flexibility and very
different tones than have been heard from
any mainstream distortion pedal. The user
should be very careful with the post knob as
this pedal can get VERY loud!

ROYAL FROMAGE
|
Pedal Specs:
Knobs: Volume, Tone
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 2 1/4" Wide, 4 5/16" Long, 1 1/4" Tall
This pedal is a two knob pedal that is built
on the same design as the Sonic Boom. This
pedal has a tone and a level knob. This
allows for a little more flexibility than
the standard Sonic Boom. Beautifully
textured clean boost with just the right
amount of "fattening" tonal qualities makes
this pedal a tube amp player's paradise.

SONIC BOOM BOOSTER
|
Pedal Specs:
Knobs: Volume
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 2 1/4" Wide, 4 5/16" Long, 1 1/4" Tall
Well, here it is! The Sonic Boom Booster.
This booster is a clean volume boost, not a
distortion unit. This pedal will fatten your
tone, boost your signal, or overdrive your
amp. The way I personally use it is to set
my amplifier somewhat loud and clean and use
the Sonic Boom to boost the signal and
overdrive the amplifier with natural amp
distortion. This pedal is loud and features
a single volume control. This pedal will
make you take a second glance at your clean
amp. I strongly recommend this pedal for
those who play tube amplifiers.

|
SWEETBACK DRIVER
|
Pedal Specs:
Knobs: Volume
Features: DC Power Jack, True Bypass, LED
Size: 2 1/4" Wide, 4 5/16" Long, 1 1/4" Tall
The Sweetback is the mean, angry brother to
the Sonic Boom. This pedal is a
boost/distortion pedal that features one
knob labeled "Turn N Burn." As the user
turns the knob up the pedal begins to
crackle and pop as DC voltage is being
adjusted. Once the knob is set, the pedal is
quiet. An increase in the knob's position
results in an increase in volume as well as
an increase in gain coming from the pedal.
This pedal will drive the front end of an
amplifier like no other. Users should note
that the pedal, when the knob is full down,
produces whatever signal is being fed into
it; it does not limit the sound but can only
boost or distort the sound that is being
injected into it. Though the pedal does add
some hair as the user brings the knob up, it
does not color the sound drastically. The
coloration of the sound is a fattening
effect that results in very little loss of
the fidelity of the original guitar sound.

WYLDE OVERDRIVE

Whether on his
groundbreaking work with Ozzy
Osbourne or with his own Black
Label Society, Zakk Wylde’s
guitar playing is loud, tough,
and relentless. Zakk’s
take-no-prisoners attitude

looked no further than Dunlop.
The result is the new Wylde
Overdrive. This muscular stompbox
will turn your clean amp into a
heavy, chunky crunch machine. Or,
use it like Zakk does and kick it
in front of a dirty amp for a
screaming, sustaining lead tone.

running easy, so you can
concentrate on the business at
hand: kicking major ass.

With G-Natural you no

into account.
G-Natural houses a suite of high quality effects
fine-tuned for acoustic guitar. It’s all you

Compression, EQ, Boost, Modulation (Chorus,
Detune, Thicken, Flange, Panner, etc.), Reverb

High quality dual engine
compression and noise gate made stompbox simple.
Packed with never before seen functionalities
Nova Dynamics sets new standards to floor-based

different stereo reverb types - room, spring,

Built upon the legacy and knowledge of TC’s
legendary reverb processors the release of the
NR-1 Nova Reverb raises the bar for guitar

“state-of-the-art”. The NR-1 Nova Reverb offers
uncompromised studio quality digital effects in
a compact floor-based design.
NR-1 Nova Reverb is a stereo reverb pedal with
two settings selectable via the two
footswitches: Manual, which represents the
current position of the knobs and Preset, which
is a stored sound that can be recalled at any
time.
NR-1 Nova Reverb also has a unique new feature
called DynaMix™. DynaMix™ acts as a dynamic
ducking effect that turns down the reverb while
you’re playing and turns it back up again when
you’re not playing. This prevents the sound from
getting muddy – especially when using large hall
reverb types – but will still give you that huge
live venue effect while the notes decay. The
DynaMix™ effect can also be reversed, so the
reverb is turned up while playing and gated when
the input signal falls below a certain level,
producing a truly unique and out-of-this-world
effect.

• Two switchable settings: manual and preset

TC ELECTRONIC VPD1 VINTAGE
PRE DRIVE
|
The VPD1 vintage pre-drive
pedal is a lot more than just an overdrive. With
the additional boost section, top and mid boost,
remote control, and a vintage-type speaker
simulation, VPD1 is a genuinely versatile guitar
pedal. Our scientists designed the VPD1 to
reproduce warm driven vintage tones that you
would normally only get from a tube amp with the
master volume turned all the way up.
Simplicity, great sound, and timeless design
make up the holy trinity of the VPD1 vintage
pre-drive pedal. This pedal is all about
bringing out the best in your favorite
guitar/amp setup without any unwanted coloring
of tone or quality-compromising add-ons. VPD1
would therefore serve as an excellent companion
for the G-System from TC Electronic. The basic
drive section delivers a distinguished vintage
overdrive allowing every characteristic of your
instrument to shine through. When you kick in
the boost section, you get a saturated lead
sound with plenty of gain and sustain.
Additional features on the boost section are the
Top and Mid boost emphasis filters that let your
tone really cut through.
VPD1 features a unique circuit, which accurately
replicates every group of components in an
original vintage tube amp combo, including the
dynamic interaction that occurs between the
components. In addition to the drive
functionality, VPD1 actually serves as a small
preamp, ranging sonically from barely audible
overdrive to snarling leads - and beyond.
In the VPD1 signal path, the boost section is
placed before the drive, which means that the
boosted guitar signal not only sounds louder but
also sounds more overdriven. This makes it ideal
for switching from rhythm to lead guitar. The
remote function even allows you to switch the
VPD1 boost on and off with the new G-System from
TC Electronic, or any other external relay
switching device. For your convenience, we’ve
also included top and mid boost switches for a
more flexible sonic exploitation of the VPD1.
The VPD1 sports an integrated speaker filter
that makes it very useful for studio sessions
and home practice. The speaker filter, which can
be bypassed at a flick of a switch, is based on
the same research as the VPD1 Drive, and
underlines the vintage qualities of the new TC
pedal.
