These new American Deluxe Jazz Basses have been a real head turner, and this one is no exception.  It;s got a lovely rounded-edge fingerboard with some pretty great looking abalone block inlays and binding.  The new N3 pickups sound perfect for a Jazz, with a really huge tonal range when coupled with the amazing controls available on this bass.  There is a traditional master volume control, coupled with a 'Pan' control for mixing the output between the pickups like a blend control, stacked bass/treble active EQ control, a traditional tone control, and an active/passive switch.  This means that you get all of the extra tonal flexibility of active electronics (and these sound very well controlled, with tons of clean headroom), but if you want you can switch it all off and have a great classic Jazz bass setup.  This really feels a big step up from the USA Standard Jazz bass.  Includes Fender hard case.
