The Takamine G406S New Yorker Acoustic Guitar is an affordable, beautiful guitar with a parlor body, but huge tone. Perfect for songwriting, the New Yorker features a solid spruce top, rosewood fingerboard and sides, gold tuners and a 3 piece back made of rosewood and quilted maple.

The New Yorker is the smallest profile Takamine, and a traditional old-time guitar shape that produces an immediate, clear, full-bodied tone that evokes the old 78 rpm records of the 1940's. The strumming voice is sharp and airy, and when played finger-style, the New Yorker sings with a sweetness and character that makes the player want to dig a little deeper into the roots of American music.
